Hey,
How much difference does it make to the sound? Any droning around 70-75, or 45-55mph? Does it attach to a stock exhaust?

I'm new to the RX-8 world and indeed the rotary world - but, it's alot of fun so far! Mine needs a cat anyway, but, while I am fine with more noise at the higher rpm range, i do commute about 90mi/day, so, if it makes a difference under about 4k rpm it may get annoying after awhile...

Hi! Sorry I just saw this today (didn't get an email update, idk why not??)
Anyway, gives it a deeper smaller noticeable tone (depending on what exhaust you have behind it)
No drone, no issues bolting up to stock headers and cat back.
Manly it makes a difference under acceleration, w/o an aftermarket catback, it doesn't sound different cruising. Small difference at idle.

Does this replace the exact same length as the OEM CAT? I don't have my street car up on a lift and I have a CAT delete pipe and would rather re-install something so I don't fail Emissions. Maybe this would work out for me.
