Hi Guys,

I've been back and forth with the dealer and other Mazda specialists due to a huge lack of power issue with my 2004 RX8. I got a few repairs i.e. Decarbon, SSV replacement which helped but still wasn't running like normal. Reading some threads here, I pulled the OEM Cat off and now the thing kicks butt like it used to so I'm pretty sure the Cat is plugged. I got 95k out of it so I guess that is better than some/most.

As you all know the OEM Cat is very expensive. I'm trying to weigh my options as it is time to get the "8" smogged. I live in CALIFORNIA so that rules out after market Cats as it is a dialy driven car that will need to be CARB legal (for now ). Anyone know of a parts resource or someone that has upgraded and wants to sell their Cat? If it is used I'm looking for something with low mileage of course. Again it needs to be CARB legal as I live in CA.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
