Gauging interest: Footwell/Seat light kit.
hello i am looking to see if there is enough interest for me to make a set of led foot well lights that not only go in the foot wells but also under the front 2 seats as to light of the rest of the foot well, the back seat foot area and have up to 2 different colors(ie red for the driving lights and blue for the dome lights as i have a blue 8but can do red, blue, white, and green) . i have ran some numbers and think that i could be able to sell these for around 150-160 shipped. let me know what you all think. and if there is enough people I will start on them right away. i could also just make them for the foot wells. as i have done this part of the project already.
here is a general pic of my idea

i do not have the kit built yet i was just seeing if there was enough intrest to make them on a large scale. but it would look like the foot well led kits but covering the whole floor, front and back.with up to 2 different colors
160 i feel is fair. the fronts you are talking about only have one color led and 2 boards with about 4 leds on each(8 leds total). my system will have 2 colored leds and 6 boards with a total of 48 leds. so if you just bought a bunch of the front boards to do the same thing i will provide it would cost you 360 dollars( 4x boards for the front and 8x boards for under the seats). so you can see that my kit will be quite a deal.

yeah but 2 boards that i have are plenty bright enough and will never burn out. 6 boards is kind of excessive in the front don't you think? unless you mean 3 boards up front and 3 in the back. maybe you could sell them individually - front and back boards?

yeah youre fine for now, but before you start taking orders for these and setting a price, you have to talk to the mods. theres nothing wrong with seeing what someone WOULD pay for them, but you cant tell them what they would be paying for them. know what i mean?

I made my own footlights for the front and in the back. They are the white interior lights. They came out really nice. They come on with the existing lights. Good luck.
