FS : Stock Wheels and Kumho V710's

I'm selling my stock RX-8 wheels wth 245-35-18 Kumho V710 R-compound track tires. I've decided not to track the RX-8 anymore. The tires have 3 HPDE weekends on them. They were still VERY sticky the last track weekend. There's a lot of autocross or HPDE life left in these tires. This is an excellent track setup for anyone wanting to track the car or enjoys HPDE's.

The wheels are in pretty good shape, but have a little bit of curbage on them. I'll be happy to share pictures tomorrow.

The V710's are excellent track tires and stick like glue. These are $270 each new from Tire Rack.

Total package of 4 stock wheels with 245/35-18 V710's : $700 + shipping.

I didn't know that many people used the V710's for track days, I would guess that would equal 9 (20 minute) sessions. At an average speed of 60 mph that should be about 180 miles of track driving on them. From what I've seen a set of these only lasts 80-100 autocross runs so shouldn't these be pretty close to corded? I'm very interested if they still have some decent life left in the rubber though.

80-100 autocross runs have the tires go through many many heat cycles which deteriorate the life of the tire. With the track sessions, the tires get hot and stay hot for the session, so the tires will not have the same wear. Let me take some pictures and put them up today and you will see. The have good life.

I understand heat cycling and all but as far as mileage goes and concrete/tarmac eating away the rubber as you corner I would think that many miles would leave them near corded even if the compound was still soft.

Let me share the pictures. The wear indicators will tell you how much rubber is left. They'll be up in a few hours.

you may be a little high...you may have better luck posting in your local region Solo 2 site.

I sold a set of OEM's with V710's about a year back for less than what you are asking (and this even including shipping). There is a very small market for these tires.

Um, before you dismount them, lets try finish up our deal on them.
I'd like them as a mounted set.
