wow that drop isn't as bad as I had thought. I was mainly more skeptical of the spring rates, since the springs thread basically bashes them saying they are even softer than stock in the rear and not much harder than stock in the front. I'll take what you say from first hand expirience in stride however, I'm gonna keep the mazdaspeeds and get some koni's. Sorry to everyone, im a girl so i like to change my mind often lol

I can guarantee you that the springs are NOT softer than stock. I would turn the konis up 1 full turn from full soft. I went 1.5 and while it was great for racing it took a little adjusting to on the street (too stiff). I think MS springs and Konis at 1 turn would be perfect.

I believe the spring rates are actually about double the stock front and rear. They are progressive instead of linear though so it's not as jarring and stiff when you press down on them

second of all, I came home yesterday after work to a large package sitting on my doorstep... apparently I wasn't suppossed to see it because it was a christsmas present but I did and it changes things... my bf bought me the tein flex coilovers!!! I'm really happy about it, but now things change again and the mazdaspeeds are back up for sale! Since i'm in such a great mood, the price has been changed to 240 shipped!
