F/S: Custom Carputer
Last month my car was totaled after it caught on fire and slightly blew up will driving down the freeway. The dealer forgot to tighten the fuel line when they installed a new motor a few days prior to the fire.
Anyway, I have for sale a custom car computer. I built it myself and it is very easy to install and remove. It's built into the pass-through. As you can see from the pictures everything is top notch. I truly makes be sad to sell it.
-it's a 1.4ghz amd geode which is the fastest mini-itx cpu without going to core 2 duo. It's much faster than any via cpu, even the 2+ ghz via's...
-250 gb HD
-win xp pro
-1 gb of ram
-cf and pcmica (does not include verzion card)
-holex usb gps
-car2pc adapter for full steering wheel controls
-all the needed proprietary connections
-xenarc 700tsv vga touch screen with dual rca inputs and auto backup camera option (no camera included)
-8 usb ports
-m2atx psu
-dual nics (100mb/s and 1000mb/s)
-25,000 mp3s
here are links to some of the parts:
motherboard: http://www.logicsupply.com/products/j7f3e_1750
screen: http://store.mp3car.com/ProductDetai...ctCode=MON-004
car2pc: http://car2pc.com/products.html
power supply: http://www.mini-box.com/M2-ATX-160w-...C-Power-Supply
The system does not run hot and very quite. Comes with roadrunner front end already set up.
$1000 firm SOLD
$20 shipping
I have waaaaay more invested in it than that, not to mention my fabrication and labor....
Also...The car2pc adapter lets you input audio from the computer to the stock radio at CD quality. Only tested with radio firmware 9.55 and 9.67, but should work with some others. It also allows you to change songs, scan, mute, adjust volume and much more from the steering wheel controls.
This unit works flawlessly, however, it is being sold as is. I will only provide minimal support. You must have general knowledge of this stuff before installing.

bump for an amazing product from an AWESOME SELLER!!!
I've seen this car, used this carputer, and have known Rasp a long time. Buy with confidence.
seeing that last picture still makes me sick to my stomach, sorry Rodger.

Psshht, chalk another one up to Mazda dealership work sucking ***. I would be demanding to be put at the top of the order list on the new RX-7 along WITH invoice pricing! LOL...but seriously
Carputer is tight as f^$k. Bump

Does this include the dash piece that the screen mounts into? If so, is it the type that you can pull the screen down and there is a cover that you can pull closed to conceal the screen?
