I have a complete diff from an 05 manual car (with LSD) that has had the ring and pinion swapped out by a professional shop (receipt shown) for a 4.1 ring and pinion. The shop that did the work does all the diffs on the local fast v8 cars. LSD stayed matched to the diff, just the ring and pinion were swapped. Mileage on the diff is shown on my receipt at only 50k. You can see the #92109 on the receipt matches the diff.

This swap will net you better gas mileage while still keeping your LSD, or upgrading to an LSD if you have an auto car. Cost to swap the R&P was over $200 so buying a complete diff pre-swapped and getting the lower R&P included is a great deal. No need to source R&P, no downtime while a shop works on your diff, etc.

I'm in Pensacola. It would probably be a drive but shipping should on the low end to Melbourne since we're close.

Freddy, unsure on 4.1 gear mileage but the installer said everything looked great. The R&P themselves aren't what typically wears and causes issues eventually. Usually, that's the LSD which is shown here to be only 50k.

 

Need to buy more presents, will sell for $325.
