It allows you to hook up pretty much anything to the stock Nav screen.
You can hook a PS3, computer, Dvd player up to it and it will display the picture on the Rx8's stock screen.

No Pie Adapter is needed. It's plug and play with the supplied wire harness.
As for the remote, this is the one that came with it.
There's no TV tuner. However this is the S-Video Model
