Or maybe he was just posting it to get a smile from people. I can picture some of you while you are sleeping and a dream sequence kicks in.... no way, that cant happen, like I can really fly.. this is BS. Lighten up people.

You've inspired me to take my 8 out and hit 180 and take a good, clean pic of it, so I did. I used a Nikon D70 and basically just shoved it into the middle steering wheel.
Okay, so I took the picture you posted, cleaned it up a lot in photoshop, reworked it, made it glow, cleaned up the mess you left, added some motion blurryness to the needle, redid the redlines from scratch and rotated it to be much more level (although not perfect).
I've attached 4 versions of the final result (about 2 hours of work). I included two versions with the blue glow, and two without (the image compression chopped the blue to hell, so i removed it for those of us that have high end screens that can show the crapiness of the compression). Then, theres two that are "near lifesize," on my screen at least, while the other two are higher res.
Enjoy. I have a feeling someone might use this in something else; if you do, let me know.
