sure that's a kcar? i don't remember the back window or pillar looking like that on my mom's (although it is hard to tell in the vid) might be an early buick t-type.

that may also not have been a straight up race. it could have been bracket racing

Looks like it's a Chrysler Cordoba. Here's some info I got from another site:

The 1983 Chrysler Cordoba sported a V-8 engine, automatic transmission, all power accessories, a carriage roof, corinthian leather seats, and cruise control. Currently sells for about $2500-$3000.

Um no, Cordoba's are huge cars my mom had one when I was really little, it weighed like 4400 lbs but it did have a 400 cubic inch motor. That is either an aries or K car (same platform) but none the less it halls A$$, I don't think I have ever seen a "street" car lauch that nice running those times. Ridiculous!
