Video Review of a 2005 RX-8
I bought my 2005 RX-8 in September of 2011, so I'm approaching 2 years of ownership, and I've loved every moment of it! I couldn't afford it back in 2004 when it first came out, so as silly as this may sound to some, this really was my first dream car (I'm saving up for an Atom 300) and I absolutely adore it.
Naturally, being an aspiring filmmaker and a professional photographer, I had to shine the spotlight on it somehow, so I decided to make a little video review of it. I really thought it would be a simpler project than it turned out to be, but here are the results (be sure to watch it in HD!!):
Hope you enjoy it!

It was the easiest way to convey the idea across without getting into how the rotary works... After I finished it and started putting the clips together, that was something I wished I had done differently. I described the engine too briefly, and short of someone's curiosity being sparked and researching "Wankel Rotary engine" for themselves, I doubt they'll have learned much about why the RX-8 has such a special engine...
awsome video. no really AWSOME video. it really captured what is like to drive an 8 BUT my only quarrel is you didnt mention the adaptive electronic power steering which is a big part of why it feels the way that it does
didn't make it the entire way through, but i can tell you spent a lot of time putting this together well.
"if this car doesn't put a smile on your face; something is wrong with your face!"
LMAO- but its true
