I had a rat make it's home in the air con unit - Made a nice nest of the insulation and ate the internal air filters .....I was wondering why the air con was non existent. Mr Rat met a very very quick demise

Oh.................it's happened before!

Check out how much the dealer was going to charge to get rid of it.....albeit it was in little chunks kinda like that kitty-cat about a week or so ago!
Anyone remember the dude with the family of rats in and out of his car while it was being kept in an unattached wooden garage(like a barn)? That **** was classic! It took him months(if I recall) to get them all out and prevent them from getting in again. Ate his wiring and all kinds of stuff!

My previous car suffered a similar fate. A rat was using the lower section of my filter box as a storage for dry dog food. When I took the car in to have the oil changed the service guys started laughing and showed me the lower filter side that was packed full of dog food.
I later found the rat dead inside the giant bag of the stuff. I guess he ate himself too deep into the bag and couldn't get out.
