I would spend money on something other than paint first. Right now that hood looks rediculous on that car since the rest of the car is pretty plain.

Umbra, rediculous? Oh, I'm sorry, you wanted to say ridiculous. Like silly, absurd, bizarre, and/or preposterous. Well, thanks for your personal opinion on how the hood looks on my car. But you see, I wasn't asking about how a hood like that looks on a plain car like mine. I was asking about painting it or not. This is not the first mod nor the last. Save those opinions when I'm finish with the car and then ask, "How my car looks?". Spinners??? I wonder how much they would run me?

mikeb, has your hood seen any rain? I remember Cali had some showers weeks ago. I don't know if you drove in that rain or not. Let us know, coz I know I would be getting a vented hood in the future. If rain is an issue, some rain guard fabrication will have to take place.
