Thumbs up Hi Steeler Fan

Well it seems that you have great taste in both Football Teams and cars.

I too am a Steeler fan and also ordered Winning Blue. Mine has the Sport Package. I saw a Blue one in person at the Atlanta Rev It Up. It looks a lot like the Laser Blue that came on the Protege MP3, and I believe is now available on other Protege's (very close anyway).

I hope this helps.

Brothervoodoo originally posted this link in the multimedia forum. This short video clip does a much better job at showing the color than any of the stills I have seen. In fact, I really didn't like winning blue based on ALL of the photos I've seen. After watching this clip, I wondered if maybe I didn't make a mistake not ordering it. I know velocity red will be just as astonishing, though.

Edit: Perhaps Kurt Bob can verify the accuracy of the coloration in this video clip?

Winning Blue

The video clip shows way too light a color tone on my computer. The still pictures that Eccles posted were closer to the actual, but still look too light.

On the positive side, the color probably doesn't film accurately because of its pearlescent quality which reflects a lot of sunlight (thereby washing it out).

I thought you could see the darker hues around the wheel arches and such as the camera position changed, as well as in the doorjambs. I figured the color was probably still a bit washed out, but you got some idea of the interplay between the hues.

I wonder which color will eventually be the most sort after - once everyone, including potential buyers, gets a chance to see them in person.

I'm guessing one of the silver colors, Sunlight Silver or the Titanium Gray. Probably the Titanium. The majority of people seem to like silver cars - pretty neutral.

Whoo - Whoo! I just became a senior member with this post. What's my next plateau and what post count to achieve that?
