Great pics Thanks! Do you have any that show the appearance package good? It looks as though the Green one does but it is too dark to show good. I see the Blue one in the distant has the package, any pics of it?

wow... the nordic green is very nice... i didnt think it would looked close to black on a sunny day!?! or is it the camera?!? neways, all in all me like... hehehe i wish they made the X-men rx8 color tho... that would look even nicer coz i like blue...

I am enjyoing your post. My car will arrive at the dealer tomorrow.
So, I will take a day off tomorrow:D
By the way, I went to a dealer which located at near Senzoku pond in Ohta ward. There were two test drive cars. One was red, the other was black. Besides that, there was a red Type-S in the showroom. The dealer was very crowded. It seems the RX-8 is selling very well in May.

The Titanium seems much darker than I expected (good!). Also, why do you censor the people in the images? Is it a Japanese courtesy thing? I mean do you do it so as to not offend the people who have been unable to give their permission or is it just to make the cars stand out more. Just curious not judgemental in any way.

East Moon...i hate to be the bearer of bad news...but the new wheels look like they are spare wheels (typical of manufacturers, especially German where the spare wheel is not a matching Alloy!)

I agree the black rims don't look "great", they look OK. I think it may have a lot to do with the pictures (I hope). It almost looks like the car doesn't have wheels. They don't stand out at all.
EAST if you like them that is what matters.
Tribal, How 'bout chillin with the pics. We would have gotten your point with one pic. Besides they don't look that great either IMHO.

Did you get any pics of the back of that Titanium RX-8? Looks like it's got all the accent package. I'd really like to see those silver exhaust highlights, if it has them. Like to see that rear wing a little better, too. Thanks.

The black rims look pretty OK on the RX8, I personally think. But it looks damn ugly on the BMW, make the car looks cheap and ughghghhhghgh. No taste at all
especially on a four door bmw. It might looks ok on the two door, I think

This is just my think.
a black wheel is a few in the market in Japan at now.
I think the reason is that many Japanese are the same ideas as some member of this forum.
A black wheel is hard to see. look like a cheap. like a spare wheels.

The wheel with shines gold or Shines Alumi-hweel and Silver, Bronze.
It will make your car a wonderful view car EASY.
Many people will go on that way.
I want to go the way to which many people do not go.
some one's car look like a some one's car!
a wheel is a part of car. a wheel does not need to be stand out.
If you focus to the tree, a mountain does not see.
I reply again, It is a simple thing.
I like a yellow body with black hweel.

he does have a point that this is the media section, and his view on black rims is rather pertinent to this thread albeit he may post too many or at a rather high rez.
Everyone has their own preferences. I would have to say I'm not accustomed to seeing too many cars with black rims, but I think both East Moons and tribal's are rather attractive. I especially like the contrasting chromed edges on tribal's.
All I'm saying, is try to keep things civil. Everyone is getting a little anxious for their cars, lets not take it out on each other!
