ah.... afaik, perpetual port does not exist. lol, would that be moving intake/exhaust that spins with the rotor?

here is a pic of the renesis


you can see that the peripheral port 13b is not a renesis. peripheral port refers to the intake/exhaust ports being on the actual side of the rotor housing. (i.e. the periphery.) this is not possible, because the renesis has the intake/exhaust ports in the pieces sandwhiched between the rotor housings as you can see in the pic above.

If you google "perpetual port" engine, you only find this thread, something computer related, and one poll from rx7club. That should be pretty conclusive.

No. Renesis is side port not peripheral or perpetual. Look at the writing on the engine cover.
