pretty much what I thought, older WRX anything pwns the new wrx lameness, maybe there's some pics that prove otherwise but I'm having a heckuva time finding any.

 

the new wrx is starting to grow on me because of these pics. i never liked how they designed the triple grill, but the conversion of the single grill is sexy

What depresses me more than anything is that there is no performance upgrades. I know there isnt much power left in the Renesis but even a 15 horsepower boost TO THE CRANK wouldve been SOMETHING!!!

Its a shame to watch the RX8 fall off the bracket with its competitors due to lack of power, ie the 370Z. Its going to be interesting to see if Mazda responds to the 370Z in any way, shape, or form.

 

I guess thats when the RX7 comes out and pwns everything.

 

Well, as long as our competitors keep getting better while we just get a 'facelift', the rx8 will continue to slowly fade away, which is a shame.

I believe they did that for performance.

 

It has really grown on me.

 

Can you explain how the hatch makes it perform better? They have a sedan version of the WRX, so it couldn't be too hard/cost too much to make a sedan STI as well even if it is just to appease the American segment.
