yeah insurance took care of me pretty good, i had a $500 deductible and the other guy paid $250 of it, so it was $250 out of pocket for me to cover just the side damage, and i paid like $700 out of pocket for the body kit paint + install, in the end i paid a fair price

I'm not really sure how car shows work and what not but i figured it would be fun

Noice man!
I will agree with Primus about the drop. Granted I do know that NY has some crappy roads.

I would measeure the distance from the bottom of the frnt bumpers chin to the ground and then factor in the amount of drop the sprins give you, if you go this way.
A nice clean look helps win awards.

^noticed it too....didn't want to nitpick tho...lol.

that color is once of the hardest colors to match. tri-stage paint.

would have to blend into the fenders to make it right.

Sorry, that is incorrect. Lightning Yellow is not a "mica". Only the mica colors are tri-stage. Trust me, I paint cars.

In terms of the rear aluminum door, did they repair or replace it?

Altspace is right. CYM is a be itch of a color to match right. might as well paint the whole car.
