I went and looked at the Altima SER yesterday and it is a serious car.

I am pretty sure since this Altima is the SER version it can be seriously tuned. Especially since it is the 3.5 L engine. Maybe hit it up with a Skyline Turbo setup. But I dont know if it could fit.
The looks are awesome. Also now with the 3.5 L 260hp engine.

I havent test drove the Altima SER yet because they simply would not let me till they saw proof of ownership on my rx8. Only reason I was not driving the 8 is because I put it in the shop over the weekend to get a checkup on all the stuff. So tomorrow (monday) I plan on driving across the street to test drive it. Yup Mazda and Nissan and Honda/Volvo are directly across from each other. Talk about competition.
