Here's my coverage at Sevenstock 13 @ Mazda Headquarters in Irvine. Great turnout, really nice rides, and a great time.

This car looks interesting... Whose is it? Is that a four port turbo with custom intake manifold?

MazdaTrix.
It was a nice event. It did not have the feeling of previuos years, something felt amiss, but it was great indeed.
I just want to make a comment on MazdaTrix. I have been going to their headquarters through the years to purchase rotary related items. At the beginning, years ago, they were a very cool group of people, mellow, ready to give advise and great people to meet.
As years went by, evidently their business kept on growing ( larger facility, more items, business and it seemed, organization ) but their good mellow demeanor dissappeared proportionately.
In the past few years, my visits to their headquarters are not even 10% of what those were previously in the good experience scale. There seemes to be an attitude of boredom, and attitude about the customer being unimportant. I do not know if it is condescention, vanity, or perhaps unhappiness and being tired about their own jobs.
You walk into the office and nobody pays attention to you, and when someone does, it is very distant and impersonal, as if the person on the other side of the counter just wants you to go away.
I always thought about it as..."perhaps they had a bad day", but unless I am the unluckiest man in the world, matching my few times a year I walk into that place with the only bad days the staff is having, something is not right.
Walking by MazdaTrix's stand was creepy. Half the guys were sitting on steps or bunks, looking bored and unhappy, and I would say, even plain annoyed.
The others were talking to each other and coul not care less about the public passing by.
It seemed like they did not want you getting close to their stand.
Part of a good business is its relation and communication with customers and with potential ones that would like to learn about the products.
Did these guys ever thought about attitudes?, about impressions? I think that after all these years, time to move on with other vendors and products that are not only as good and better than MazdaTrix's, but are people that are happy to deal with you, receiving you with enthusiasm, and treat the customer with inteligence ( good communication and demeanor.)
I am not trying to rant, MazdaTrix's products are excellent, but it is their attitude that sucks, and as a customer, I am entittled to good service . Not only that, that same good service I am talking about is what will gain, maintain and increase the number of actual customers.
I purchased a few items from Atkins Rotary. They should open branch here in So Cal. It was a joy to meet people like that.
