RX8 Of the Month Voting Thread!!

Shock and Awe
There should be a way to see who exactly is voting for who. I'm just wondering if some people might be cheating and voting for themselves over and over again, either with a proxy or with "fake" accounts.

still got 8 days, a lot of things could happen in that time. I understand Chrism thoughts though, especially witnessing what CAN happen. Does anyone remember the 2007 RX8 Club calendar voting fiasco that happened...people deleting things, changing votes.
I don't think any of the people nominated would even consider doing anything to alter the results here. All the cars nominated are worthy of recognition. The voting shows people's preferences, and as you can see, votes are close.
I respect all the cars in this thread, I hope to see some additional nominees next month...or the voting may get old after a couple months. Nice to see some new blood and see how things turn out.

utlimately, the winner is going to have about 20% of the popular vote, this means that there will be 80% of the people that voted that will question the results. I say we go with the results, and assume that people are interested in seeing true results.

And honestly, if someone did try to tamper w/the results in the calendar, someone will do the same for this.
Then again, until there are prizes, how much does it really matter?

it would make me sad if people felt complelled to cheat in our little RX8 of the month deal. It's just for fun and a good time, and gives members something new to participate in
I also agree with Kwescott that the winner will probably only win with 20% of the vote if even, meaning a majority still voted for other people (divde by 9, tho), but that's what happens when you have 10 cars to vote one. Very rarely will you ever get a true "runaway" winner, let alone a winner with a majority vote.
But everyone can see all the cars displayed, pic their fav, and vote. Ulimately, the car that is the most appealing will still win (unless there is cheatin...) because most voters will come into this thread independantly and look at all the cars and vote for their fav. Everyone has different tastes, which can explain why all the cars nominated here look so vastly different!

Had only one whip...which was the San Bernardino thread...got a lot of love from the members in that group....but, I guess I used it to early.
Now, it is strictly up for the forum members to decide. All the cars are worthy and will have their time in the sun.
