To answer the question, I'm not sure about the stock system. I believe the Bose has 300watts. Its sounds OK. I've actually found that the louder I turn it up, the better it sounds. At regular volume, its sub par.

 

when it comes to my Bose, well, I,m easy,heh ,it sounds good and my remixed Def Leppard sounds ok on it, can't see spending more money on high end sound system. just my take.... anyways visited the Hard Rock ,Beijing and no Bose system there, but nice place.....

 

I replaced all speakers and put a sub in. It sounds 10x better. My 2c
