I never really seen a project like in person before. As far as the electronic I would do a defi all in one cluster for something like this just me. hell even my neighbor knows how reliable the ls1s are got me thinking. An ls3 is a cheaper than rebuilding and turboing an 8.

a Brand new (Repeat after me, Brand new), cost 5K?
porting job - another 500 ?
Turbo kit, related stuff, upgrades, install and tune. another 10-12K,

Is it reliable? proper tune? yea

how much is a LS3 going to cost you again? and you have to fight with all kinds of problems you WILL face.

Well, if you can do all fab work yourself then "MAYBE", but other than that. I don't know.
