Rotr8 Builds things from scratch
We have 3 different 3d sanners. different scaners for different uses. you can see how much higher res the vent apoxie scan is than the trunk,,,
For the trunk I only really needed a rough idea of the surface data. The ducktail will be machined in foam then test fitted, then glassed over. Will mount with original spoiler hardware

our schools 3d scanner was "stolen" from the Industrial design department and given to the architecture department and they never used it. We took it back this year but we dont have the licenses for the software to use it.
What type of foam are you using for the ducktail?
All of this has gotten me excited, I cant wait to do projects like this myself.
I have to thank you for convincing me to switch to industrial design. I love the major, i love everything about it.
Also love the conversion, its a mesh between a G37 front and Evora front and alfa 8C sides. Any renders of the rear? please dont disappoint
Most if not all conversions for the rear of the FD look like ***.

Awesome stuff as usual man, I wish I could buy some of this. The only reason I have stock Aero is just because I can't find anything I really love for the RX-8 body wise.

some other shots that didnt make it into the feature(not sure why because these are much cooler shots) Photographer Jeff Creech http://jeffcreech.com/

Very nice, Cool to see your stuff in a magazine.
Yeah If I go ill get up with the Michigan/Canada guys. My roof started to pull due to adhesion issues so it kinda looks funny, but was too cold to fix by the time it started to happen. Also too cold to fix before DGRR.

well the carbon overlay. It was like I had small spot that did not in hear like the rest of the carbon and it started to bubble with air pockets. overtime with the sun and heating and cooling it has only gotten worse.

BTW, that pic like all in the shoot was a composite shot, the hood was never taken off.
