lol well if you read what i wrote too you'd see i said "most" offsets theres my cushion

fact of the matter is the differences you mention are simply to accomodate different fitment. the wheel is a replica of the SSR for sure

sorry i missed a few posts not sure whre to start. i totally agree everyone has their own opinion. i sometimes think mine look heavy compared to stock, being bigger and black but then again when you are up close you can see so much behind the wheel they look light. i know mesh has typicaly been associated with euro cars as well. its just i have seen a lot of old american cars with big 5 spoke wheels, and i think the lip does not look flat maybe that is what doesnt do it for me? is the lip flat?

@ 07bb08, well smaller and thiner i think. i would not necessaly say mine look dare i say it jdm, the above cars deffinitly do but slap them on a stock car and its a little bit different story. i also think color changes any wheel.

maybe i missed it but why do people like these (see thread headline) again?

the whole jdm subject is a touchy subject these days!! lol its cool!! mesh rims are gangster i like them to especially on bimmers but i understand your point about the old school 5 spoke muscle car look!! check these out

old school cragar wheels this is what i'm thinking of when i think of 5 spoke muscle car wheels?

You probably meant pictures with them on an RX8, but this car came to mind instantly. Met the owner when I lived in Ottawa. This car is a little rocket!

Im not big on the stepped-lip (always reminds me of my brothers T/A GTA) but i'd settle for a stepped-lip if the lip was as big as these lol. (I wish mine were double what they are )
