Rota D2, SSR Professor SP-1, or Work Meister S1 picture request.

I search and found a few pics of Mikeluvs8's RX8 with his Rota D2's and canaryrx8's RX8's Work Meister S1's. Does anyone else have pictures of RX8s with Rota D2s, SSR Professor SP-1's, or Work Meister S1's?

example:

Mikeluvs8

Canaryrx8

Edit: SSR Professor SP-1's on a few members RX8s. scsi, thanks for mentioning them.

I'm pretty sure those D2's are black. My neighbor just got new Rota D2's in black with polished lip for his AP2 S2000 (they look great on the S2000 and reminded me of Mikeluv8s' rx8). AutoRnD (they're in the vendors section) also sold D2's in black with polished lip for the RX7 over at rx7club.

I checked Rota's website for the D2's and also noticed the gunmetal finish instead of "gloss black". I hope they didn't discontinue them.

I think they are a classic design! I was sooo tempted when tire rack was clearing out those professor SP1's. They looked similar to the Meisters but i dont think they had a stepped lip.

But my only stipulation for these wheels will have to be low offset and an agressive lip for them to really stand out.

What kind of question is that?...

Mikeluvs8, what is the brand and model in the last pic? The center cap is somewhat busy IMO but the wheel itself looks nice overall.

You forgot one. Enkei also makes a replica of these. They are the RP03 Type RC. Here is a pic:

the raveanns are very cheap replicas from what i hear.

the SSR and works and enkeis are all slightly different and enough so to be considered their own. the rota d2 and the raveanns are direct copies of the SSR profs

they all have there differences, if you dont know the difference the rota d2's spokes are more curved than all the others the ssr's are straight spokes. and if they were direct copies shouldnt they have been sued already???

i love the look of the d2's. Also for everyone that says rota's suck they don't. Yes they are replica's and they might not be made AS strong but they are still a GREAT wheel. ive had 5 sets of rota's and never ran into any problems. so i say +1 for the d2's!! =]
