wow those mirrors are insane expensive. I always liked them, and now that I have seen them on an non GT 8 I am not so interested in them anymore. Props though for getting them. They just seem a little out of place for some reason to me.

I can count on one hand how many times the back seats were actually used to transport people since i have owned my 8 (10/06). Of course many people are diff i guess. So i actually like the idea of a roll cage if u plan to split time between DD and track/autox. Looks pretty sweet man

Thanks for all the awesome compliments. I just got back from the Fast N Furious event. Definite pantie dropper. I had a huge crowd around my car the whole time (made me kind of nervous at times, "too close man, too close!") But hopefully there will be some decent pics up of the event later tonight that I can post in here. I have crappy cell phone pics and just realize they are all of the car with the doors open, no closed shots.
I have a charity car show tomorrow so hopefully more pics will come from there as well.

I just got bad angles of it. I think everyone (for the most part) will understand them better in an ungrainy picture taken at a better eye level presentation. mirrors like these look like they float, so the angle a picture is taken at has a huge impact on how they "appear." They are high (just like any other GT mirror.. how else do you think you can see..) but not too high. Also the CF aero kit is growing on me. Definitely needed work after I got them back, but I've been trying to rework them to make them look more presentable and I'm getting close.

And the height on the mirrors IS perfect. It was made specifically to go where the stock mirrors are. If the mirrors sat any lower you couldn't see anything with them...
