A rotory can probably it 20k rpms. I don't think they even balance race engines to go that high. Maybe they do. The renesis? Not so much. Above 10k, it's anyone's bet, but the factory balancing is not going to hold forever. That rotor/house looks absolutely trashed - like you used it to grind sand from rocks.

What country is this in?

Kind of makes me glad to regularly fully explore the extents of the engines operating range.

I had once tried 10k rpm. Don't know why the ECU don't cut it. But no more after the battery changed.

Eh... parts here are not cheap. i think only the rotor housing is already about US$500 after tax. parts are 100% tax in malaysia.

Now, with pulling and replacing, and needing new housings, that is MUCH more reasonable.

Still a lot more my tastes, but, for someone not mechanically inclined to do it themselves, not a bad price.
