Reincarnated RX8

Installed Fuel Filler
Modified Wiper assembly to use the RX-8 motor. I did wire up the vw motor first but it is just to slow and out dated. The mazda motor is more than twice as fast as it's slow is faster than the vw fast. Also with using the mazda motor it allows me to use the intermittent function.
Just a look at what it looks like with the bonnet on. I am happy with the intake setup as I don't need to modify the bonnet now.
Got the muffler from Summit Racing today. Only cost me $26 to my door. Pep Boys wanted $63 and they would still need to order it!
Muffler installed

Londons Yellow Peril
This is potentially really stupid, but can you cunningly put the oil cooler in the behind the rear arch?
If it works you could have one on each side....

Yeah I guess, Well I sort of have a sleeping disorder and do most the work at night. Plus the house I am currently renting is in a gated community and I guess they don't like people doing ANYTHING COOL!!! So I keep the door mostly shut during the day. I didn't hear any complaints till I had the door wide open, the motor in one spot and the trans in another. I hate stupid people that complain for no reason.

Even if they tell me I can't work on it they can eat my A** and I'll even give them a spoon.
They really can't say anything now because it RUNS.

Homeowner's associations are like unions, though you get harassed instead of 'protected'.
I belonged to one once, when I was going through the legal fight with Toyota over my transmission, and the transmission sat in the trunk of the Corolla. Corolla sat in my assigned parking place. Then someone stole the tags. HOA kept harassing me about having a none-plated car sitting there, and I informed them, repeatedly, that it was part of a lawsuit so I couldn't get rid of it, and it didn't run, so it wasn't going to pass inspection to get new tags, and I would be stupid to put tags on a car that can't move. But there wasn't much they could do about it, since it was in my assigned spot, and I kept it clean.
So then they decided to do some "roadwork" in a 3ft x 3ft section of roadway, right at the end of my parking spot, and issued a notice that it had to be moved for the roadwork, that we had to use the guest lot. So I did, my wife and I pushing it to the guest lot. Less than 3 hours later, there was a bright orange "remove or it will be towed" sticker on the windshield, and some smug looks going around.
The "roadwork" was canceled.
I hate those people.
Glad to see it's running
Really impressed by the speed of completion for you, including the move.

Went to "Bug Jam 2010" and picked up both rear side windows with new molding for $10 then also got a pair of new 195/60R15 for the front wheels for $60
Saw some cool bugs there and some not-so cool ones
Here is one that is also using RX-8 seats (no RX-8 motor though), That's really the only thing cool about it.
What were they thinking with the hood, bumper, roof, slanted taillights... ?

That looks like it might be phantom blue paint, as well. Have you decided what color you are going with?
Edit: actually I'm not sure there is enough green hue.
