Thats the switch for the rear fog light as its a Jap Type S it has to have it by law in the UK (not in Japan) and the place that fitted it put it there to save cutting holes in the dash.

The leather is silver mate

compare it against the car colour and you will see they look similar.

My interior is stock until I finish my suspension build but this is what it looks like during a car meet/track days when my wife is with me.

She isn't as enthused at the idea of hanging out with a lot of car guys as I am.

Happens to many shifters. The top is just a light chrome plastic finish and over time and hard use it wears down. To me, buying a used it with that type of damage speaks volumes into the previous owner(s). Sorry dude.
