Im glad to see a GTR using its fat to its advantage. And I do condone parking like that, Im just shocked nobody squeezed in next to him yet.

I park in Parking garages next to or under cameras. Has come in handy a few times... sadly.

^ witnessed the guy pull in JUST LIKE THAT and get out. Everyone else was following the uniform lines of the lot, but no. This guy had to be a special snowflake.

^ both from last year. I came out of work only to discover that someone in a HUUUUGE ford decided it'd be awesome to disregard the bright yellow lines painted on the ground and get as close to my car as possible. :| thx man.

that's it for now~

OMG, don't make me choose. lol. J/K for me too, it took me six months to finish paying my baby off, I don't think I want to trade it for anything.

Also, YAY YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS. I don't know how many times people have asked me "WHAT KINDA GUITAR IS THAT!" [/off topic]

I've done something similar but a bit more justified. I used to have a reserved covered spot at my previous apartment. A couple times I had someone park in the spots next to me way too close (on the line or over it). That complex had a problem with a lack of parking so I'm not about to give up my spot just cause someone cant park. So I just park normally and take pictures of how close the car is and get a good shot of the plate just in case.

You didn't mention it, but was the van parked poorly or was it all her doing?

It pisses me off seeing this and I have on occasion said things to people about abusing the parking privilege. 9-10 times people using these spot are very able bodied. "You got legs that work---- Use them", This has been said many times along with many other adjectives. Its great you stood up for him I'm sure he did appreciated it.
They really do hand them out a bit too often. My dad had to have surgery on his foot (like 10 years ago). That had him in a cast and he was told he needed to stay off it as much as possible. They ended up quickly discovering that a screw they used was too small and had to redo the surgery again with a larger screw. Since they had to do this twice, they really emphasized that he needed to stay off it as much as possible and offered a handicap tag, though he refused. They even insisted but he still refused. Now, his condition probably warranted the tag, but it just goes to show that people could get by without it.

Now I gotta admit... I love getting the handicap spots when I'm driving around with my grandmother lol.

oh my god, I never thought I'd find another hide fan here... I'm only 20, so I was very young when he died and had no access at all to any Japanese music. D: X and hide are some of my biggest influences in what kind of music I want to play. I don't care if I never become famous, I just want to do it to have fun. :] Though I'll always wish that I at least had gotten to know their music earlier :\ I feel like I missed even more than I already did by just being too young.

And that's so awesome that you met Sugizo! O_O I wish I lived on the west coast sometimes, 'cause no one EVER comes out to the east. Pata and hide are my favorite members of X.

First off, I'm going in to get handicapped plates because I'm scared witless after witnessing the pure power of Pico.

On topic, I'm glad I'm flexible and not a very big guy because I once had to crawl into the driver's seat from the passenger side because of some douche who parked too close.

Also, just this morning people immediately parked next to me at work despite parking just about as far as one can from the building. I know I was surrounded mere minutes after parking out of the way because I had to go back out and grab something I forgot in the car. I momentarily thought about moving my car but reconsidered as at least the people on either side of me were coworkers, rather than a revolving door of various customers who would likely be parking next to me if I moved (I work at a retail store).

when i park, i don't park in the very back of a lot. i just park a few spots down from the furthest car in a lot. this gives a couple of spots buffer and i am usually in and out of most stores pretty quickly.

personally i think that if you take up multiple spots, especially in a nearly full public parking lot, you are just asking for someone to come key or ding your car. some people will go out of their way to do something to your car if you think your car deserves multiple spots when a lot of nearly full. if it is your own lot or whatever, that is one thing.

when i used to go to school and work at the university, i used to get so many dings in my 3000gt. first of all, the parking spots are about wide enough for a smart car and as most people know, a 3000gt is about 3000 feet wide i am glad that at my current job that i always park next to the same people that work for the same company as me. we all have very clean cars and we respect each others' cars. always nice to not have to worry about who is parking next to you.

I think I know why everyone sucks at parking. They are all getting their licenses out of Cracker Jack Boxes.

I am going to preface this saying I have nothing wrong with minorities or immigrants, in fact some of my best friends are minorities, or at school with a school visa.

I am pretty sure in California, if you are an immigrant, or English isn't your native tongue, you get part of your driving test slashed off. I would think that the requirement should be flipped, meaning they should be required to take more test... Not sure if that makes sense.

Unfortunately, the only pic I have is the awesome spot I found at my school (CSUF):

The car next to my 8 is almost always there, and his/her spot is just as big. We can both swing our doors as wide as we want with plenty room to spare

rofl pull in the same spot that he is occupying maybe 1/3 of

Someone working at the wal mart closest to me drives a really nice Mitsubishi eclipse, and Its always at the back of the lot, I think he works there..I park next to the car because I like it and enjoy looking at it, but I always leave him enough room to get in his car

I see nothing wrong with how he parked. That spot he pulled half into is only big enough for a bike anyway, and a bike could still park on the other side of him. I see dually pickups all the time parking across 2 spots because they bought a truck that's too f@*&ing big to fit in a normal space, I've even seen one take up 4 spots because it was the long full-size 4-door version that's too wide and too long for one spot.... who needs an ugly huge truck like that anyway?

Damn, the guy who owned the ginormous lifted Chevy who always parked next to me moved a few weeks ago. Otherwise I would have posted a shot up. Dude was a complete douche who approached me one night when I got off work saying "dude, I have a pregnant wife, you should let her take your spot" as if you guilt me......even though I had been living here much longer and had always parked there since day one. Mind you, I have the closest parking spot in the left side of my building (there is also parking on the right side). So, being the nice guy I was, I allowed her to do so.....which meant sacrificing the view of my car at night, as I had to move down 2 spaces since the lovely couple insisted on parking next to one another. So now I had a lifted Chevy truck that takes up half my space AND a Chevy Equinox blocking the view of my car at night. Then, I come to find out that his wife ISN'T even pregnant. Needless to say, once I found this information out, I began parking in my spot again any time it was open, and they eventually moved out, as I believe they were just staying with their parents, who are our old/angry downstairs neighbors who calls the cops on us if we so dare invite more then 3-4 friends over on a Friday/Saturday night. They refered to me and my two roommates (who are my best friends) as "a bunch of young hoodlums who have frat parties". On a typical weekend, we have MAYBE as many as 4 people over.....so add in me and my two roommates.....thats a whopping 7 people. And usually all we do is drink and play PS3/360/Wii. And we all work full time are really, are rarely all here together at one time. Anywho, i'm done venting, lol.

Ya, I was lucky to find that spot. Problem is, its at the way back of the school.

I don't mind the walk, but if I leave later than normal for class, I am trying to get to class on time, and give up that spot for something closer.

Although funny thing about that, I usually spend more time looking for closer spot than I would walking from that far spot. (But that's the problem, its usually taken if I am late )
