Post your angry parking pics!
If you are like most of us on here, you generally make a conscious parking choice on where you park, putting at least a small token of thought into protecting your car from the invasion of other cars, other car's doors, purses, shopping bags, shopping carts, soccer *****, golf *****, bowling *****, etc...
...and I am sure you are also just as pissed of as the rest of us when someone makes a conscious effort to disrupt your parking haven, or else displays a complete lack of thought which results in the same.
Well, you have camera phones...post your pics!
Here are my 3. These are all within the last 9 months, at my work no less.
It was ~34 degrees outside. The parking lot slopes away from where I am, and yes, that is a crosswalk painted on the ground under the van. I am happy to report that the van was towed shortly after a few security guards helped me push my 8 out of the spot so I could open my driver's door (I don't crawl through), which was after 45 minutes of paging the building for the owner and her (assuming) not showing up.
This one had me spounting expletives. Not of how close they were to my 8, but notice the curb...yeah. It pissed me off pretty bad. Fortunately, again, they were towed. That is my preferred spot, because my 8 'hides' in the corner
This one was yesterday. I just can't win.

The bad thing about this one is that you parked as far to the right as you could so you could be away from any opening passenger doors in case a car parks into that spot on the left. I do the same thing. Unfortunately people take this as a queue to take up the whooole ******* empty space so half the time the plan does not work out and you are no further from the car that parks next to you.

EXCELLENT thread.
damn RIWWP, people just love your car so much, they want to park right up next to it.

Oh he would hear what I had to say. I take up multiple spots at work and I hear people mumbling under their breath but I'm the boss so they can't say **** about it. I think they complain because I actually have a "special" dedicated spot but I don't even park there because the doctors all drive huge vehicles and open their doors without regard.

here's what parking away from everybody get you sad thing is my buddy(300zx) and i just showed up at crappy tire to get some lawn chairs to sit down at the car show we were entering. so all day my car sat as people walked by. it was covered by a t-shirt that was generously donated to me. but i had to drive around for a couple weeks with that blemish on my car. and as everyone in town pretty much knows i keep this car flawless. i spent probably 300+ hours this summer washing and detailing my car for various local car shows. so driving around with that was embarrassing.

Happens all the time to me as well. I leave 6-7 spots open all around me and when I come out I'm surrounded. Mind you there are plenty of open spaces closer to the stores. Grrrr

i take up multiple spots and people at work HATE me for it but i work at my dads and uncles companies so nobody can or has the guts to say anything and we have alot of contractors coming in and out of some of our offices and they know better than to park by me or any family members lol oh and as for stores and stuff i had a few police lights left over from some conversions my dads company did for local pd and i place them on my dash and that almost always keeps people from complaining about occupying the spots and from parking by me!

I park far away or if there is a very nice car out by itself I park next to it, as to know that at least one side of my car won't get hit by an idiot. Basically if it looks like a man's car, it's fine, if a woman or someone with kids, or a **** car, then I try to stay far away..
nothing you can do about people who park next to you after the fact tho.... I have a dent so deep in my driver's suicide door because someone who must seriously have wanted to do it... like I would honestly have to take a hammer to get a dent that size while I was parked far away....
people who don't have an appreciation for cars, or others people's stuff **** me off
