Hehe, I had to post this, the contrast was...priceless. Not angry, quite the opposite.
I had a funny friend parked next to me today:

I try to park a couple stalls away from everyone if possible. If I have to park with the general population I'll look for a spot between two 4-door cars.
My personal favorite is this though... Was walking from my car to the gym and this girl pulls up into this spot and the mirrors were virtually touching. She crawls out her passenger side and proceeds to take a picture of the situation and vans license plate. I asked her why the pictures and she told me so she can get a hold of the guy if she gets any door dings.... wow..

Damn Pico, you have some guns! My father in law (RIP) was disabled and all the handicapped spots would be taken and he would have too park way out and it used to **** me off because half the time the people parked there were not really handicapped. He never said anything but I sure did.

^ Sorry to hear about your loss
Your right about the parking situation, it seems like the Doctors/DMV just hand these types of Handicapped placards out to anyone with a limp, over weight, etc. etc.... It pisses me off seeing this and I have on occasion said things to people about abusing the parking privilege. 9-10 times people using these spot are very able bodied. "You got legs that work---- Use them", This has been said many times along with many other adjectives. Its great you stood up for him I'm sure he did appreciated it.

Thanks, he passed away a few years ago. He had Polio as a kid and it was never taken care of the way it should have been so he had many health issues.
Yeah I manage a group of psychiatry offices and we get people asking for them all the time. And yes our doctors used to approve them from time to time but I put a stop to that **** quick.
There are some ignorant people in this world, it's pretty sad.

Yeah I hear you. I see that **** ALL THE TIME, able body people parking with handicap passes, and it pisses me off. It now seems they just give them to old fossils and/or fat asses.
It seems to me that if you feel you're too old/fat to walk an extra 50 feet to the place you're going then you have NO business driving....
I know this doesn't compare well but when I was in HS I tore my ACL playing football so I was in a chair for a little over a month...I had my mother driving me to a restaurant and we had a temporary handicapped parking pass.
We were about to pull into a handicapped spot when this guy in a BMW came FLYING into it. No handicapped plate or tag from his rear view mirror. I rolled down the window and just stared at him holding my handicapped pass...he just walked away. What a bitch.
So I was wheeled into the restaurant and we told the manager what happened...he went out and looked at the car and verified no handicapped parking pass, so he called a tow truck. Haha.
LMAO!!!

i ALWAYS call the cops and complain when i see an able bodied person getting out of a car with a handicap tag or with no tag at all ... so much so that dispatch knows my name ... alot of these people have disabled family members and use their tag which is still WRONG and 9 out of 10 times the cops get there before they leave and they get busted big time ... i hate these people coz i was in a chair for 6 months and it was so hard to find a spot sometimes and all these people can fu**ing walk i couldnt
