Yeah with the minimal gains from greddy we may need a Diet version to get the car faster after all!

Instead of coke or pepsi, i want Bacardi to sponser me.
This would be amazing

I dated one in college...after two weeks I wanted to shoot myself she was so dumb I couldn't take her anywhere, I might even be able to dig up a picture but don't bet on it...since I tried to disgard anything related to her when I started dating my current girlfriend, who is working on getting a PhD in genetics

This is awesome!!!! Great responses.
On the comment about turbo kits. Called those companies. There response, well we dont have engine management and not sure if it will work. Our response, pay for a Greddy out of our pocket that we have installed on several cars (See this months Modified Magazine for installation on HUFFS car). The kit is a true bolt on and everything you need. With our AWD dyno at our shop we can tune it further.
As far as the wing. We eat rice off that. WHAT NOW! JK. I guess it has no function purpose as GT3 Cup cars run them too, but what the hell do they know
There was a partnership with this car and a budget. Pepsi is VERY pleased with the overall progress and is glad we are using continued partners like Veilside, Valvoline, and more. I think the overall appeal of this car will be great for the RX8 enthusiast to see a different angle on one. ****, we were the first company to build a nice RX8, but then we got behind.
As far as COKE building a car. I got the info on that if anyone wants it PM me.

Ban Wagon Jumper is right....anyways. You can bring that up all you want. If anything you are referencing too was true, then we would not be where we are today. Any Press is Good Press.
RX8 guys, where were you when we had polls on what to do to the car on our www.vividforums.com???? These opinions are great as we still have time to change things.
What do you guys want to see for stereo or engine dress up. What about suspension?

I know plenty about this forum, we were one of the first on board here. Did alot back in the day. Vivid Forums have always been around for Vivid Customers. Not car specific. But we were advertising info on the car there. We know just about every part available for the RX8. We have all the japanese books and have all the US contacts, our main concern was keeping our budget, making Pepsi happy, and promoting the partners involved.

How are the sales going on NASIOC and ClubWRX? Oh that's right, you were asked to leave or forced to pull out because of all your negative feedback.... If you would like to keep denying things I have multiple threads from many car sites about how badly you guys have treated many customers.
For you RX-8 guys out there thinking of buying parts from Vivid do yourselves a favor and find a more reputable source, which would be any other source besides Vivid.

IkeWRX thanks for the comments. I will PM you a link to our new facility. 10,000sqft with 3 lifts and a AWD dyno. I think you just took a perfectly good thread and ruined it. Hope all enjoy the Pepsi car.

I contacted them before many time...finally I got them, after a month and a half...so there is no need to credit...I am simply done with vivid...and I guess the bitterness came alive when I saw the veilside on the car and wretched out loud

Since Vivid felt the need to push things and PM me here's a link for all your reading enjoyment. I'll start on page 35 just because that's about the time discussion of kicking Vivid from NASIOC began.
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ighlight=Vivid
(waits for his new PM from Vivid threatening a lawsuit)
If anyone feels the need for more links about what a great company Vivid is feel free to let me know.

You guys might recognize a poster or two in these threads...
Any press is good press, right Vivid?

Keep in mind this is just a sample of threads like this from one site. There are many more threads just like these on many other forums.

2010 Prius - Miss the 8
I doubt Pepsi figured that in when they asked Vivid for help... Perhaps Ike, you would like to send Pepsi a notice of the reputation of Vivid?

FREE ADVICE!
Holy crap! I'm glad I read this thread and the link to the other. I'm in the market for a Greddy, but will seriously research the vendors where I will ultimately make my purchase. I usually scan for problem companies in www.ripoffreport.com. Didn't see them in there, but from reading these posts, it's only a matter of time.
p.s. 1) I enjoy Pepsi very much. 2) That car IS RICE. :D :D
