Why did he continue to drive on the inside of the corners to go around the track?

Why would anyone want to drive on a track with snow/ice on the sides?

The pros may race in the rain but they ain't gonna race with snow/ice that close to the track.

If it had been raining the track would have been slick and the same exact thing would have happened. You need something other than stock tires anyways because of the obvious temperature and that would help mitigate any issue with snow being off the track in the rare circumstance where you went off the track.

This guy was an idiot. There is absolutely nothing else to be said about the track, other drivers, or anything. Everything he did was stupid including the stupid sigh at the end. I hope that was his car and that he destroyed it so that he can learn from his stupid mistake.

I saw that video 3x before I went back to read the posts.

Then I had to go back and plug in my audio unit. Ouch!

Sounds just like my neighbor. He just bought a Porche Boxter. He drives just like that. Even in his Miata's. He thinks it's perfectly normal and he think he's a good driver!

Takes all types to make the world go around.

All I could think was "Thank God he's off the track now." What a blithering idiot - He had no reason to be on ANY track driving that badly.

What a dumb ***!

Everything's already been said! There was a young Elise driver did crap like that on the track at Road Atlanta. Scared the hell out of me. I tried to give him as much space as he needed. He almost T-boned me in 10A and later spun out between 10A and 10B.

Edit:
I went back and looked at it again and I believe this is a case of driving like you are in a computer game with no real fear or appreciation of reality or the consequences it can bare... what a dumb ***!

Edit:
And what the hell is he doing with his navi up? Guess he's driving by watching the screen!
