Nurburgring Trackday yesterday
NOT only did I drive another trackday this week, but it was the full Nurburgring VLN course AND it was awesome weather too... the VLN course is half the GP track joined to the Nordschleife for a whopping 25km lap 
Check out the videos below (one is HD, the other is SD but with data... ). On this lap I get to play with a Porsche 968 Clubsport after he spins in front of me... He speeds up again and tries to hold off the mighty Rex, but it's no good. The Mazda will pass... it's just a question of where

Tyres are pretty terrible: Kenda Kaisers in OE sizes.
If you've never heard of them, don't worry. I hadn't either!
However they came on the car and the inner Yorkshireman won't let me remove something until it's worn out... trouble is they seem to be compound developed from granite and mahogany....

Here's another fun clip from the day:
Flat out on the almost-straight 1.5 mile Döttinger Höhe. This is the part you can't drive flat out on a tourist day. On the trackday it was no problem... if you call nose-to-tail drafting at 150mph 'no problem'
