no jrichter is right actually as of the 3rd gen mazda dropped the miata name and started calling it an mx-5 good try though

i challenge you to find the miata moniker on my car any where.....mx-5 is there but not miata....they only use that on the site because of name recognition but it is no longer called miata

I was being somewhat sarcastic but Mazda does or did intend to drop the Miata name completely - perhaps they are holding on a couple of more years to make sure the average American Joe knows what a MX-5 is. I believe its been called an MX-5 or Roadster (Eunos) in most other markets back to the early 90's.

I'm jealous. I see a convertible in my future. The sensible choice is the PRHT mx-5 in either silver or gray with a tan interior. My heart is calling for an S2K tho.....
.. decisions decisions. haha
