New rims/tires (fn01r-c)

Just put them on. Set of 5zigen fn01r-c's in bronze with toyo proxes t1r tires. The fn01's are 18x8.5 with 38mm offset, and the toyo's are 245/40/18.

As well, stock wheel+tire at 32.5 psi weighed in at 47.6 pounds and my fn01's with toyos at 32.5 psi weighed 46.6 pounds. So approximately 1 pound saving per wheel. I was hoping to get more, but being that I now have wider wheels and tires, I figure any weight loss is fine.

Pictures!

Oh and yah my car is looking like a freaking monster truck with that gap between my wheel and fender. I have some springs that I haven't had time to install, but this will make me find time quicker! It also doesn't help that the slant of my driveway makes that side of the car lift up more.

Yes it has a bit of gap, but did no one notice where I said my driveway is slanted so it makes it worse than it really is?

It's about the same gap as with stock rims/tires. The overall height of the setup is almost the same to stock.

Nice wheels! Yeah a modest drop will do wonders for the looks alone.

He probably meant .8"?

Anyways, for reference I went out and measured the gap between the drivers side and passenger side and the drivers side is a full 1 inch higher than passenger. See what the slanted driveway does! Haha, I need to take pics on flat ground...

My new springs provide a 1.4" drop in front and 1.2" drop in rear. It should be good to go after that. It's hard to go lower than that without coilovers since not many springs for our car go more than about 1 to 1.2", and the couple that do are not very high quality.

big pictures bro, might need a warning next time lol. Nice rims, bronze looks pretty good with grey, didn't think it would but it does. Good choice, still think those look better on a FC.

Only wing I'm a fan of so far is the stock one, and it's not top on my to-do list.

Anyways, here's a pic of the car on flat ground to give everyone a better idea of the true gap. Granted it still needs to be lowered, I know this and have the springs waiting, but it's not as bad as the first pictures make it look.

Update, got the springs and shocks on. Closed up the gap nicely, pictures do not do it justice, though. In person it looks very sleek and sexy.
