Sold!
~~ CAR IS SOLD - NO LONGER FOR SALE ~~
Well, it's been all too fun guys, but the ***** gotta drop somewhere. Two big whammys over here (bought a house, got engaged) have pressed me to wave farewell to the 8. Listed on AutoTrader yesterday, and I'm gonna post here for slightly cheaper.
05 VR GT, 6-speed, 19,900 miles, Fully loaded with every option (minus nav and sirius). Purchased in May/06, the car was produced in Dec/05 so it techincally was sold as an 05, but newer then many 06's. Perfect condition, no known issues, non-recalled engine gives me 19MPG/town, 24MPG/hwy easy (yes, one of the more efficient engines on this site). Mostly highway miles, as you'll figure when you do the math for 19K miles in 16 months of use.
Sale can include a set of 4 Dunlop Winter Sport M3 tires and Kazera KZ-V 17x7 rims, barely used. For anyone in snowy states, these are a MUST compared to summer rubber.
Also on the side, comes with factory OEM mask, all-weather floor mats, and the option of keeping the Garmin Nuvi660 which is plugged into the audiolink.
Has until 2011/60K miles on factory warranty, so plenty of time for anyone looking for a gaurantee.
All said and done, the whole shi-bang is goin together for an asking price of $20K. ($19K WITHOUT extra rims/tires) Car retailed at $32,200, which didn't include the rotary accents or the entire appearence package ($1,200). Also, the tires, rims, mats and mask add up to another $1,800.
That said, $20K for a fully loaded 05 GT, then the extras is more then a deal. Its like getting the car for $18K then a set of rims AND tires! Not fond of breaking up the spare rims/tires from the car sale, but if so, the car will go for $19K WITHOUT spare rims/tires
Pictures are available on the autotrader website following the link. Note that my asking price here is $300 less since its here on the forum.
REASONABLE offers are also being entertained, so don't be shy! Listed on Autotrader, but already there's an added-in $200 discount for anyone from the forums.

be willing to part with just the extra rims/tires? how many miles on them? I have only a couple thousand tops left on mine... just hit the 30k point with them and riding very little tread... going to pull them during winter while in storage and replace them. would be nice to pick up the extra set of stock rims too... will need a set of snowtires/rims for next year as I dont want the hassle of having to pull the tires and rebalance every single time I change out the tires...

Nah, not really looking for Audi right now. Thanks for the offer. I'd imagine you wouldn't have much trouble getting rid of that for a decent price tho.
I understand the want for other tires to sidestep the tire removal and mounting process, hence why I bought this set for the 8 in June.
However, since it's possible that I might be driving the 8 through a winter here in Ohio, i'm not gonna be able to break the tires/rims up with the sale of the car. If the car goes and someone decides NOT to take the rims/tires, i'll then be putting them up for sale, but as of now, their my own lifeboat as well...assuming we have a winter anything like last. So i'm gonna have to pass on the request for now.
