New Emblem Design- Interested?

So the emblems are in and mounted. Im going to admit after this whole thread I was skeptical about these, and didnt plan on putting them on. Once I had them in hand, I saw that they actually do look good and definitely not cheap....they look custom made. They molded right to the bumper curve and went on with 3M..Check them out and let me know feedback. I havnt shined them up all the way yet, they will get pretty shiny with a little work.

Man, I'm torn....I don't know if I like it enough to do it. I think it is too perfectly round or something...just doesn't quite fit. I can't decide for sure if I don't like the look though.
Got any pics without the rx8 emblem?

I like the idea, but for me, a flat piece of metal does not an emblem make.
A little 3D-ness applied yields a better result IMHO -- and there are places on the web that create custom emblems ... some that even glow at night in different colors

Just spoke to Marc @ emblem art-he's a very nice guy! He said his stuff is a step above mine in that it is chrome-plated plastic. His turn arounds are very lengthy though as he has to outsource the chroming to another company and has to wait until he has a large amount to send them before he can have them chromed. He can cut out one-offs, its jsut that the chroming company won't fire up the machines for one at a time, he has to send them a batch of 50 or so.
He said in the past they've done CNC metal work, but no longer offer it for ROI reasons.
