not digging the hellasunk look but I'm sure it'll look great once you get those new wheels. Did you install the coilovers yourself?

lol fair enough on the hellasunk part. i don't mind it, but i would rather have some wheels. i am thinking 18x9.5 mb battles or 17x10 chrome rpf1's. it'll be a while before i do that though. and yes i did install the coilovers myself. it was cakework.

Any plans to space out the stock wheels in the mean time?

Very low, what type of coilovers did you go with?

yeah i agree with the spaced out stock wheels, it looks really weird as if the cars like hovering if that makes any sense haha. also trim off the left over zip tie ends.

as for spacing, my buddy has a work in progress rx7 that has 25mm spacers that i might buy off of him for my fronts, not sure if that would be too much or what, but it would be fun to mess around with. i may lift my front up a bit in the near future seeing as i have a drift event june 24th-27th

regardless, a slammed 8 on stock wheels looks better than a stock height one on stock wheels. i can't stand wheel gap, and it irritates me when people say that i ruined the car or something to that effect, when they have like stock height and ebay chrome wheels that are thinner than stocks. and the zipties are like swagger points in the drifting world at least people don't hate on this forum like they have on others....ehehe

Whatever floats your boat man but it looks horrible in my opinion and you just trashed the handling characteristics. But good job on the coilover install, at least you did that right.

But if you like it, that is all that matters bro.

how do you know? have you driven my car? have you drifted my car? cause last time i checked it is an improvement over stock, and definitely better than springs.

Yep slap some 25mm spacers on and raise it a little bit and you will be sittin' nice.

My stockers with 25mm spacers on Teins. a little lower and it would have looked the way the 8 should have from the factory.

Dude, learn to take criticism, I don't need to drive YOUR car to know how an 8 handles that low.

well i said im going up a little in the front for a drift event next month, and i will be putting on the 25mm spacers. i like the 25mm's with the teins.....but its just a little to high. tires dont have to be tucked, but im not a big fan of fender gap. and trust me, it handles well. but what do i know i only have 14 posts.

Defiently too low for my taste, but I did get some good info from here. Apparently my stock wheels arent the only ones where it seems like the tires were mounted wrong. I dont know exactly how to explain but on the drivers side the wheels look like they would work with the car going forward and the passenger they are against it. Anyone know what I mean?

Yeah stockers with 25MM spacer at about a 2 inch drop (maybe lower if you want a little tuck) would be perfect IMO. An alignment would help get it just right. Ask around, some of the more knowledgeable guys can tell you what you need to know to get it perfect.
