My new exhaust tips

These are stainless steel. They look so much better than those wimpy stock ones. Not to mention that one of the stock tips stuck out farther than the other.

Yeah, it has been like 40 days, 40 nights raining here for the past couple of days, so my car is really dirty right now. I don't think there is any sound difference, which is fine for me. I was just going for looks. I was suprised at how much of a difference they made. The installer was even impressed.

Good job. Can you get some other angles? I wonder if this can be done to the TurboXS exhaust tips.

Just new tips. I had considered getting the new MS exhaust, but all I really wanted was a different look, so the expense was so much less for just changing out the tips. I don't know which brand they are. I went to Midas, and the guy showed me which ones were stainless, and this one just caught my eye for size and appearance. I think they will be alot easier to keep clean, but we'll see. Makes me want to get the MS rear now.

I'm not a fan of just adding tips. It's kinda like getting hubcaps IMO. I guess if you like it tho...

Well, from what I have read, there is not much real benefit to getting a whole new exhaust other than the sound, and the look of the new tips. I like the stock sound...I don't want it louder or to sound ricey. So it was a choice between getting new tips/installation for $140, or buying a new exhaust for around $500, shipping charges of probably $30-$50, and another maybe $50-$100 to have it installed. Easy decision for me.

So are you saying you think they look like those fart cannon exhausts that every Civic has? Nah, just a little bit bigger than stock, and now they look like the tips that come stock on the 350 and S2000. You would think that when you buy a car that stickers for more than $30,000, they wouldn't give you those soda straw exhaust tips. If you saw it in person, I'm confident you wouldn't think it was excessive.

^Nah I think they look good. When NoTears mentioned hubcaps I thought "spinners". I remembered someone posted a link to ebay where they were selling exhaust spinners. I just thought it was funny that's all.

I would like to but the cost is just too much. I may get the rear underspoiler, but I don't know about the rest. I'm just afraid that I won't get my money back if I ever sell it. I might if I sold it privately, but if I traded it in, I don't know if the dealership would give me anything extra, even though I had to mortgage my home to pay their prices for it.

Getting new tips for the stock pipes is a good appearance mod IMO... I did the same thing. Looks much better than the factory twiggy-tips.

Very nice. I totally agree. New tips is a much more cost effective way to improve the appearance.
