^^ If ypu are happy with it thats all it matters
Question, your car has the 5 speed manual right? Does it means it has the same engine as the automatic ones? just being curious.

5 speed and 4 port auto are the same motor just different trannies, I've had an Aem on my car (4 port auto) for years, water/moisture has never been a problem, only time I had an issue was driving home from work one day and getting caught in a flash flood of sorts, my car being low to the ground got fed a wake of water from oncoming traffic that suffocated it temporarily, it stalled and sat for a few minutes, then started and was fine ever since. In every day normal driving it's fine, never has issues at all.

You should also reconsider how the front lip is mounted and get some bracing so you don't lose it at high speeds.
Don't forget these, oh and welcome to the club!

really need to learn to let go, express your true feelings and all, don't hold back, tell us how you really feel, it's healthier that way.

i guess there might be an issue if a layer of ice forms around the filter.

DO something

That breather looks like it belongs on the roof of the house, not on the motor .It makes the motor look like a 12a( early '70s style) wankel
