All the cosmetic MS parts are about as ugly as I can imagine. Cheap and tacky to the max.

I too have never seen this and I think the MS kit is very nice just too expensive for me. I need to find a way to make money quickly.

 

The kit is nice, but ridiculously overpriced. And each wheel is $1400? Uh?

 

the wheels are actually cheaper...but the mazdaspeed MAGNESIUM wheels are that expensive...the cheaper ones are made out of a different material...correct me if i'm wrong...

 

Yeah, this isn't the Mazdaspeed 8, it's simply a collection of MS parts that you could have purchased from your own dealer for the last few years.

If you paint that car neon green and add stickers it could make it into Fast & The Furious Quatro -- Vin Diesel's Revenge. The cosmetic parts have no performance impact yet are designed to make a car look faster -- the very definition of rice.

 

So, by that definition, you should be driving a Scion Xb or an Insight.

Look for this next time you are at a drug store:

 

No perfomance impact? Someone correct me if Im wrong, but the spoiler and bodykit all add downforce at higher speeds, and I believe the kiteven lowers the drag coefficient (although Im not ure about that).

If it offered no performance gain then why does Mazda, Speedsource and other racing teams equip their cars with it?
