Well...I did a practical joke on one of our cooks, so here's the story:
One of our line cooks had locked his keys in car. Me and my brother were closing (servers). We got done and went to our vehicles. We saw all of the kitchen people around the car taking a break, smoking and looking for a way to break into the vehicle. They had hammers, coat hangers, and screwdrivers.
Well I called my brother and asked if I should call the cops as a prank. I drove around the corner into an alley with a good view at the parking lot. I called the cops and described what looked like people in gang attire (chef jackets), wielding tools to break into a car.
Within 45 seconds a police helicopter was on the scene shining the spotlight on the vehicle and the people. Within abother 20 seconds a cruiser, and a motorcycle cop pulled up. And then about 10 seconds after that another cruiser pulled up. Well I decided it was time to leave incase someone were to see me. And I let my brother know what happened because it was funny.
The next day, he worked was talking to the owner of the vehicle, and he said it was funny and no one got in trouble. So my brother told him that it was him and me. Word got around to everyone including the owners, and apparently the cops new the owners. So the owners fired us on the spot...it's still humorous though!
