cool. i appreciate ur guys honest opinions. specially the ones that weren't immature about it.
i still like the way it looks. and when i get a chance im going to test the color on my car to see if it looks good to me in person. if i love it, i'll do it. plain and simple.

No man, no offense at all. It was a compliment, I believe you posted some pics a while back and she is beautiful.
If you are digging the color, rock it man. Most hated my Red Volks and I love my new rims but i regret selling my Red Volks.

First off this thread is quickly approaching 100 post about a bad color choice of wheels and a horrible color for a nordic green rx8.
Wheels should compliment the cars color by matching an accent color/trim on the car or by contrasting the cars color such as black, silver, grey and even white work with just about anything else. If your car is a light color you can accent with a bold brighter color like blue, red, or even green and yellow purple if thats the kind of thing you like.
With the OP's car, he would be best off going with a dark color, black, black chrome or grey. White, chrome and silver work fine too. If he is wanting to be different he can pick one of the above color choices and trim the wheels in nordic green. (like 9K did with his red trimmed wheels).
Now if the OP really likes his wheel color choice, he will need to add that color in many other places on the car. Basically the bright green color needs to be the trim color of the car. I dont think the dark and bright greens work together, but atleast if your going to go with that color combination you need to go all the way and not stop with just the wheels, think graphics, racing stripes, pin striping, neon lights, interior, mirrors and any plastic pieces on the car that are currently black, grey or chrome. All this is very "Rice" which is not my thing, but with what he has now its not even Rice, its just a color clash disaster.

Not digging the teal/green combo, but a light Tan (like the Shinka interior leather) would look friggin amazing as a contrasting color for the Nordic green.
It would also stay classy (For when you want to dress up to take your lady to a nice place)
The flat lambo with orange wheels & ground effects would look at home on a racetrack... but you would look pretty silly stepping out of it at a 5 star restaurant wearing a tux...

2. I've eaten at a lot of very nice restaurants (including, what was, the most expensive restaurant in the world) and I have yet to need a tux for any of them.
3. If I'm driving a car like that, I don't give a damn what people think of the modifications. I just got out of a pile of money on wheels that goes fast and looks pretty awesome. Half of the kind of people that would make care about how "classy" the car looks would be satisfied with the fact that you're driving a status symbol.

I wonder how white would look with the Nordic green.
Honestly, I don't think it's horrible - but it definitely doesn't fit the car.
I have a Black Cherry Shinka and I wanted to go with white wheels, but it just doesn't work. So I'll eventually go black.

What are those? And your volks were 3 piece no? You could have had them rebuilt. You Volks were clean. The had just the right touch of Red. You took a big risk, but it came out nice. Anyways, like i said, new wheels are too plain.

Not the best picture, but you can see the "2 pieces":
I like unique colors. I loved my wheels and every set up that tiltmode has done looked amazing. When I'm able to afford a set of wheels for my new car, it will definitely not be a typical color. Like I've said... it depends a lot on the wheel, as well as matching the color of the car. The wheels are far from a good choice for a color like that and that color does not match well with the paint color. There are individual personal preferences, but some colors simply do not go together. If you like it, go for it. Don't expect many compliments based off the responses in this thread. Those colors just aren't naturally an aesthetically pleasing combination.

Do you have pictures of the back? are you sure they are not 3 piece? Some 2 piece= 3 piece welded. They came out nice though!

I take that back... It's kind of funny that I can do a google image search for GTF and readily find a lot of pictures that I took and 9k took lol. I still don't think I have a picture of the back side and I can't find any pics from a quick search... here's the best I can do:
Rays officially lists them as 2 piece.
@9krpm: In searching for pictures, I came across my sale thread... I had to chuckle at this post:
