Personally, I'm not liking that color at all.

i don't like it. I think it's too much for a stock car and will draw way too much attention.
You should try a darker gunmetal with a hint of this teal. It may come out nicely

i actually like the contradiction of the stock body rx8 with bright wheels. like little school kids holding machine guns or soldiers holding water guns.

My biggest problem is that I don't think the stock wheel design goes well with flashy colors. I personally like unique wheel colors, but you have to pair it with the right wheel. I think colors like chrome, silver, grey, gunmetal and black work fine on the stock wheels. I want to say I've seen a copper color that looked alright too. With a color like yours, I'd definitely say it needs to be on a different wheel.

I agree get some good wheel and do that color, stock wheels aren't that awesome to begin with. But that's just me.

u guys are silly. ofcourse the color would look better on some 19 forgestars. which would be my wheel of choice if i could afford at the moment.

but the tires on my stock wheels are good with lots of life. and im tired of the plain silver color.

its like me saying i dont like ur choice of interior decorating on ur house because the design and feel would look better in a bigger mansion.

silver is a color. just say you think the stock wheels look terrible.

this really isnt about whether stock wheels are better than volks,weds,advans,etc...

this is about the art of color.

Not really feeling it, but if you like it, do it. You're only out the cost of powder coating them if you hate it when it's done.

A color like that could be pulled off on a white or black car that was dumped on the ground with pretty agressive fitment. Any other way, it will just stand out and look odd IMHO.

im all for the aggressive fitment if i could have it now. any color wheels look better properly fitted.

other color combo's i would like to see more of on our cars would be "highlighter" yellow wheels on blue rx8, "construction cone" orange on galaxy gray rx8, "solid gloss" yellow on black rx8, glossy baby blue on red rx8.

in order for these color schemes to look their best, the cars would have to look low with aggressive wheels and sticky icky tires.

sorta the same look and feeling from looking at a clean sport bike.
