Lebren Rear Accent Light
Hwk, use some caution with the next step, I've had success with windex as it contains ammonia and the ammonia will help remove the unwanted RTV. A microfiber cloth is your safest bet for cleaning. If you have any further issues feel free to contact me PM email or phone.
Indeed.
Lebren, in my haste I never seated it properly and I have a slight gap in between the trim and the accent. I see everyone else's is seated flush.
So I need a new tube of silicone? Anything specific i'm looking for?

I truly think it's the way Mazda molded the bumpers. I've done some that fit flush and others that stick out a little bit. The first thing I did was add that chamfer on the top of the lens to prevent the gap but it doesn't help on some eights.
Hey Al, have you decided if you're going to reinstall your light? A small gap is okay as long as you can tolerate it, it's a tight fit. Your local automotive store should carry Clear RTV that will work.
I will take a pic of the gap to show.
I'm sure water has gotten in there, but the LEDs are still working fine for now. I want to avoid them shorting out later on obviously.
Also, yeah the blue splices are made for larger wires; connection will be intermittent
Orders shipped on the 4th, you'll be one of the first to get yours mike being so close! Dont forget installs have their own page on www.lebren.com
