Smoked Gray looks fantastic on the yellow! Got it rev, you're really going to like it! I agree, the 8club site has been inaccessible a few times in the past week... I wonder if the server is acting up??
Ive been following this thread for a while now and i have a quesiton. DO these automatically come on when you turn on your head ligths or is there an individual switch for the accent light ??
yeah i wired it to a switch, love it b/c i can run it like a rear fog in daytime, don't need my headlights to be one. just ask lebren and he'll hook you up with extra wire. i got a switch from a local auto store.
dude, lebren, i swear i took more pics but i haven't had internet at home in days/weeks!! so frustrating. looks like you're getting some other pics though

First I apologize for the late reply! Make sure there's a solid layer of RTV and that it reaches the edges of the lens. If you touch the lens when spreading the RTV with your finger it's probably too thin of a layer. I'll do my best to get an image up so you can see how thick it should be.
Remove the light, and as much of the RTV as you can from the Accent/lens bond. Remove as much double sided tape as possible that was on there before. Avoid using more double sided tape, and remember there are 2 steps to RTV.
1) Apply the lens to the accent and smear/smooth the RTV.
and
2) after smoothing and curing (give the RTV an hour at least) then use a second layer over the existing one to adhere the entire assembly to the bumper.
Too much RTV will make a really tight fit that won't allow the light to fit 100%

wow... i failed miserably................. when i when to step to to use RTV to put the accent in. the lense poped out.......................... leaving me even in more trouble so now its in three pieces(almost) the rotor accent, LED/circuite and lense...
oh . the Rtv got all over the lense so the lense is dirty...
