The scenery sucks, but I had to get home and into the garage as the snow started falling pretty hard this afternoon when I was getting acquainted with my new Black 8. Here are a few shots if you're interested... hopefully I can get the snows mounted tomorrow and get some more scenic shots...

Last one... I couldn't bring myself to use the same ratty old booster seat, so my 5yo and I went out and found a sweet black leather Eddie Bauer seat... now we're both stylin' : )

Thanks guys... since I got the dealer to put the strakes on prior to delivery, about my only other plans for it are clear corners (I've seen pics of the euro/jdm spec RX8 in Black and the clears look great).

Nice looking car but don't take it out in the snow and salt, walk run, hitch, anything to keep it clean
Enjoy but be careful'
Oh yea, mine got Zaino'd today in the nice and toasty warm garage while it snowed outside. And it will not see any snow if I can help it.

Funny you mention that Sea Ray... my wife and the rest of the family just got back from downtown Chitown, and she insisted I give her a ride. We have about a half inch of fresh snow on the road, and all reports are right... the 8 handles horribly with summer tires. I just went around our block at 5mph so she could play with all the toys on the dashboard (Nav, stereo, hvac, etc.), but the DSC was really working overtime just at that speed. Needless to say, my Dunlop WinterSport M2's are in the basement waiting to get mounted tomorrow hopefully. I can't wait to go out in the white stuff with winter shoes, turn the DSC off, and do some drifting : )

Looks great, congrats! Two tone interior is smooth, nice touch.
Clear corners - great addition. How about the front mud flaps to round out the appearance package? $72 and simple to install.

Does anyone have any before and after pics of the front mud flaps for comparison?
Thanks!!

Nice ride! Seeing all of your cars with the appearance pkg makes me wish I had it on my 8. Oh well, it's still the prettiest, hottest, sportiest d#$& car I've ever owned!! Enjoy her!

G8rboy - If you do a search you should be able to find several front splash guards w/ appearance packages. If you don't have any luck, send me a pm and I'll e-mail you some pics of mine. I would just post them but I'm not sure how.

Thanks Success- I found Sea Ray's recent thread with new front mud flaps, and you're right... they do complete the aero pkg.
I appreciate the tip!
